When to Visit Siargao – Weather & Seasons
The best time to visit for sunny weather and calm seas. Temperatures range from 24-32°C with minimal rainfall. Perfect for beginners to surfing, island hopping, and beach activities. However, this is peak season, so expect higher prices and more crowds.
Prime surfing season with consistent swells from Pacific typhoons. Cloud 9 and other breaks come alive with powerful waves. Expect some rain and occasional storms, but also fewer tourists and better accommodation rates. August to October offers the most consistent waves.
Cooler temperatures but frequent rain and strong winds from the northeast monsoon. Many island hopping tours may be cancelled due to rough seas. However, this is low season with the best deals on accommodation and fewer crowds for those who don't mind the weather.
March to May for perfect weather and calm seas. June to November for surfing enthusiasts. December to February for budget travelers who don't mind rain. Always check weather forecasts and typhoon season updates before traveling, especially from July to October.
